Getting Started Guide

This guide explains, in plain language, how to shop on Bancostore and how to become a distributor — from registering to earning your first commission. It isn't a policy document; for the legal terms governing your account, see our Terms of Use and Earnings & Income Disclosure.

1. Shopping as a Customer

You don't need an account to shop. Browse products, add items to your cart, and check out as a guest — your cart is kept for you as you browse.

1. Browse the Shop page, or a product's category, and add items to your cart.
2. Go to checkout, enter your delivery details (or choose free pickup), and pay securely with Paystack — by card or Mobile Money.
3. Once payment is confirmed, your order is placed. You'll see live order status updates: Pending, Confirmed, Processing, Dispatched, and Delivered.

2. Becoming a Distributor

Becoming a distributor means joining Bancostore's referral network as an Independent Representative (IR), with your own permanent IR ID and the ability to earn commissions. It happens in a fixed order:

1. Register. Fill in your details on the Become a Distributor page. You'll need a sponsoring distributor's IR ID to register — usually pre-filled automatically if you followed someone's referral link.
2. Pay the registration fee — a one-time fee of GHS 100, paid securely through Paystack.
3. Choose and pay for a starter pack. This is what activates your account and places you in the binary tree:
   • Starter Pack A — GHS 1,500, 500 PV, starting rank Bronze.
   • Starter Pack B — GHS 2,000, 1,000 PV, starting rank Silver.
4. Complete identity verification (KYC). You'll be guided through a quick, secure process: photos of the front and back of your ID, plus a live selfie, all handled on our verification partner's own page.
5. Wait for approval. Once our team reviews and approves your verification, you're issued a permanent IR ID — this is what makes you a fully active distributor able to refer others and earn commissions.

3. How Sponsoring Works

There's no separate "become a sponsor" step — it happens automatically. Once you have your IR ID, your distributor dashboard shows your own personal referral link. Share it with anyone (WhatsApp, social media, or in person):

• Anyone who registers through your link automatically has your IR ID filled in as their sponsor — and, once they arrive from a real referral link, that field is locked so it can't be accidentally cleared.
• You become their sponsor: you're credited as their recruiter, and you earn a Direct Referral Bonus when they purchase their starter pack.
• They're also placed into the binary tree on your side — though for tree-balancing reasons, they may land a level or two below you rather than directly underneath, if your own immediate positions are already filled.

4. How You Earn

Distributors can earn three types of commission. Rates are business settings that may be adjusted by Bancostore over time — the figures below are the current values:

• Direct Referral Bonus (10%) — earned when someone you personally sponsored purchases their starter pack.
• Binary Bonus (7.5%) — earned on your weaker leg's PV (Personal Volume), calculated automatically on a regular schedule.
• Matching Bonus (5%) — earned on your downline's binary bonus earnings. Bronze-rank distributors earn this 3 levels deep; Silver-rank distributors earn it at unlimited depth.

To stay eligible for bonuses, you need to generate at least 100 PV of personal volume each month. Unused PV on your stronger leg is carried forward, but expires after 180 days if it's never matched.

All your earnings — wallet balance, this week's earnings, team size, PV, and rank — are visible on your distributor dashboard at a glance.

5. Requesting a Withdrawal

Once you've earned a balance in your wallet, you can request a withdrawal from your dashboard:

• Your KYC must be approved, and you must have set a payout destination (a Mobile Money number and network) in your payout settings.
• Withdrawal requests must be between GHS 100 and GHS 10,000, and can be made weekly.
• Approved withdrawals are processed on Fridays.
• A withholding tax of 1% is deducted from every withdrawal and remitted to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) — the exact tax and net amount are always shown to you before you submit a request.
• Requests are reviewed and approved by our team before payout.
